Coffee

To Every Coffee
There is a Season

While one can draw many parallels between Specialty Coffee and Wine, it is much more accurate to draw parallels to specialty bread when it comes to freshness and flavor. Always purchase coffee that is roasted within days of consumption. Skip the airtight space age bag, which does very little to preserve freshness and flavor.

Like tomatoes, apples or blackberries, coffee is a seasonal agricultural product. The unique aromatics and flavors that make specialty coffee, special, fade over a relatively short period of time after harvest and processing. Always ask to buy coffee that is “In Season.”
