Single Origins
Travel the World
From Your Kitchen
Travel to distant lands each day and discover the unique tastes and aroma of single-origin coffees. Single-origin coffees offer the story of the people, their culture and the rich ecosystems that produce each and every cup. Explore the spice and chocolate of Guatemala, the earthy tones of Indonesia or the deep cherry and chocolate tones of Colombia and experience a new world of flavor.
Unlike blended coffees, which attempt to keep a desired flavor profile consistent year-round, single-origin coffees offer an experience that changes with the seasons. We offer our single-origins only at the peak of the season and freshness.
Taylor Maid Farms specializes in the finest certified-organic coffees from conscientious growers worldwide. We are very proud of our grower-partners and hope you enjoy their offerings.

More than 600 families and farmers make up this cooperative and they all share one vision: to protect their environment through sustainable programs and projects that conserve natural resources and improve the community’s standard of living. This stewardship of the environment derives from their belief that the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is the heart of the world, and that the well-being of the rest of the world depends on it.

Brazil Floresta
Region: Chapada Diamantina, Bahia
Farm: Fazenda Floresta
Elevation: 1100 meters
Process: Washed & Patio Dried
Cultivars: Catuai & Bourbon
Certifications: Organic, Biodynamic
Harvest: May to September
Availability: April to June
Roast Level: Full City
Farm: Fazenda Floresta is one of 14 farms that comprise Cooperbio surrounding Chapada Diamantina, in the Bahia state of Brazil. The “chapadas” of this area are towering rock formations, pockmarked with caves and streaked with deep chasms that sprout waterfalls during the rainy season. Sloping away from the base of the Chapadas are mineral rich alluvial fans where the coffee is grown. Chapada Diamantina is the best known of these formations, scoured by early Portuguese settlers in search of diamonds, hence the name. Though this farm has been certified organic since 2001, it has upped the ante by becoming certified biodynamic by the Demeter Association. Biodynamics is uber organic, a marriage of land stewardship, animal husbandry, social consciousness and the implementation of lunar cycles in the planting and fertilizing activities to obtain the optimal universal bond with the farm. Well-drained, acidic, mineral rich and heavily composted soil creates the ideal conditions for a superb organic coffee.
Cupping Notes: A perfect balance of soft fruit, almonds and honey, with hints of chocolate liqueur.
